When this is written on the night of the 17th the river stands in 198 landed salmons which is more or less spot if we compare our fishing report from the past. As always the weather conditions here in the valley are making it difficult for many anglers to cast but we are starting to see more salmons on all beats. Now the wind is blowing from the north and we hope these conditions will continue.
The group that was fishing here 8th to 13th of july landed 28 salmons and on the last day we notice a group of grilse running through the seapool and we hope this will continue. Still it was difficult to make them take the fly and the group manage to land 4 salmon and one 100cm at the end.
We will be posting some fresh news in the coming days and hopefully more salmon will run up the river
