Vatnsdalsa Map
Vatnsdalsá River is about 40 kilometers (24.8 miles) from the sea. It's split up in three main beats, which provide around 20km of salmon fishing. Approximately 50% of all caught fish weighs-in in excess of 10lbs, having spent two or more years in the ocean before returning to the river. Every year, our anglers catch salmon in the 22lbs-25lbsweight range.
